When is the best time for the Madu River safari?
It is highly recommended to take the Madu River safari when the weather is dry. Boat tours on rainy days can make it very inconvenient and dampen you despite every boat having a foldable roof. On windy days with heavy rain, you can get really wet. Madu River estuary is also located on the west coast of Sri Lanka like most popular beach resorts such as Bentota and Hikkaduwa. What is the cost for Madu river boat ride or Madu river safari Sri Lanka?
There are two different price categories when you book Madi river safari,

- Per boat rate
If the number of persons in the groups is 8 or more the visitors can go for per person rate, which is 8 per person. If the number of persons is less than 8 the visitors can rent a boat for the ride and it cost USD 60, the rates may differ based on the exchange rates of the day that you travel.
