Sri Lanka is good for a wildlife tour. We booked Sri Lanak south coast tour which was 2 days tour and covered 4 wildlife sanctuaries, It was a very interesting trip and well worth what we spent. Despite teh lot of travelling, we were lucky to spot a large number of animals.
Sei lanak is a nice and beautiful country. You are right Sri Lanka offers a large number of activities for travellers. As we were in Sri Lanka in 2019 we had engaged in many activities you mentioned don this article. But spending time on beaches are the best activity.
