Our story

A journal for people who stay a little longer.

Tea hills at sunrise

Wanderleaf began the way most good trips do — a delayed train, a shared thermos, and a stranger who insisted we stay the weekend. That was 2019. We've been writing ever since.

What we cover

Longer routes. Family-run guesthouses. The cook, not just the meal. We take our time with a place, come back in a different season, and only publish when we have something we'd tell a friend.

What we don't do

Sponsored best-of lists, drone-only travelogues, or itineraries built around airport lounges. If a hotel gave us a free night, we say so — and usually we didn't stay long.
